Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka Awards 2016: National Final Results
The 2016 Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka Awards were a fantastic showcase of the talent and skills of the young people of New Zealand. The contestants came from around New Zealand to compete for the Sir Paul Callaghan Premier Award.
The 2016 Premier Award winner was Andrew Tang, from Scots College, for his presentation on using Algae as Biofuel.
The Highly Commended Winners were:
Shalini Guleria for her presentation on "Struvite Crystallisation"
Dana Lawson for her presentation on "Mind Over Matter – The Placebo And Nocebo Effect"
Richard Todd for his presentation on "Subcritical Water Extraction Of Antioxidants From Food And Food By-Products"
