42 Students Enter The 2017 Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka! Awards
A last minute rush saw entries for the 2017 Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka! Awards climb to a very satisfying total of 42.
Regional distribution sees good numbers from most areas with the highest entries in Wellington with 20 followed by Auckland with 8,
Particularly pleasing has been the significant increase in the number of schools with entries in the competition for the first time -

This year the students are competing for $107,000 in prizes and Scholarships. The National Finals will be held in Wellington on 7&8 September followed by the Governor-General's Awards Dinner at Government House.
Preliminary competitions will be held in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin and in our virtual region fore the first time.
