WETA Digital funds prizes for Eureka! Video Awards

Great News! Weta Digital has this year funded the prizes for the Eureka! Video Awards.

$1000 will be awarded to the students who produce the best video in each of the year group categories - Years 7&8, Years 9&10, Years 11-13.

A further $2000  will be awarded to the best video overall.

"We are extremely grateful that Weta Digital, who have been a strong supporter of the Eureka! programme for the last 3 years, have agreed to fund these awards this year," said Francis Wevers, National Convenor.

"The video awards are an important new development of the Eureka! Programme given the importance of story-telling on video and the role good story-telling has in the development of science and technology literacy."
